Q: What is included in the ticket price?

A: Included in the ticket price is:

  • your steam train journey to and from the Glass House Mountains;

  • a complimentary drink on arrival;

  • live blues performances throughout journey to and from Glass House Mountains;

  • a three hour concert performed by one of Brisbane’s leading blues acts; and

  • finger food and gourmet BBQ buffet at the venue

Q: What beverages / food are available throughout trip?

A: You will be provided with a complimentary drink once you have boarded the train. Additional drinks and light snacks will be available for purchase from drinks trolleys throughout your journey. Once you arrive at the venue, finger food and a gourmet BBQ buffet awaits. The buffet will be available during most of the event allowing plenty of time for you to have your meal without rushing. Beverages will be available from the bar at normal country pub prices.

Q: Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

A: Yes we can cater for your dietary needs - simply indicate your requirements during the booking process. If you forget to do this please contact us and we will process your request retrospectively .

Q: Can I bring my own snacks and drinks?

A: The train journey is only a little over an hour in each direction. Finger food and a gourmet BBQ will be available as soon as you arrive at the venue so there will be only an hour and a half (approx) before your main meal is available to you. If you are hungry or thirsty on the train drinks and light snacks will be available for purchase. We discourage bringing snacks with you as space for drinks / snacks etc is limited on these beautiful old trains.

Q: I haven’t received or can’t find my e-ticket where could it be?

A: You should receive your e-ticket shortly after booking. Please check your JUNK or SPAM MAIL folder if you have not received your e-ticket.

Q: Where should I park during the event?

A: There is parking available in the Roma Street Transit Centre where Destination Blues departs, this can however be very expensive. To view all your parking options from $0 upwards visit http://au.parkopedia.com/parking/roma_street_railway_station/

 Alternatively you may wish to park and ride (park for free at a train station near you and catch a train to Roma Street Station). http://translink.com.au/travel-information/network-information/park-n-ride
